Testimonials from Students
It is a joy to be able to work and grow with the wonderful souls that have chosen to study through the iNtuitive Times Institute. We share with permission a few testimonials from NTI graduates and students.
Rev. Jean A. Leone, OM, RN, BS, MS, NTI Professor
I have been aware of Rev. Barry and Rev. Sandi’s work since I entered Seminary in 2003, (and ordained in 2005). I have had the honor of getting to know their ministry personally since 2008-2009. The Kings vision and mission has led to a journey that they have walked for the past 26 years. Their path is one that has always included an interfaith perspective, inclusivity, commitment, ethics, and a passion to serve as educators, mentors, and sages for those individuals seeking ministry and spiritual counseling training. Barry and Sandi were one of the “firsts” to create and speak to Interfaith Education and Training and, they continue to develop additional programs that address the needs of a pluralistic society and consciousness. The world is a better place because of the commitment to serve that the Kings have given us.
Rev. Debra Lynn Sinclair, CASC 2009 Graduate, 2012 RSPd and OM Graduate, 2013 awarded Master Spiritual Director, NTI Dean, Member-at-large on OIIM Board of Directors, Director of Stratford, ON Interfaith Centre, Stratford, ON
With each OIIM program I learned not only about world religion but I learned a lot about myself. I am proud to be an OIIM graduate.

The iNtuitive Times Institute (NTI) seminary program exists as a labour of love on the part of its founders, Barry and Sandi King. The fact that it is a small seminary belies the magnitude and quality of its programs. After deciding to engage in spiritual studies, I explored various options and finally settled on NTI. Its comprehensive and challenging program is exactly what I was looking for, and as I work through my course of studies, I find myself opening more and more to wonderful spiritual truths. One of the wonderful things about NTI is the close care and attention provided by the deans and mentors. They are truly there to offer support and guidance all along the way. If you are considering studies in the field of spirituality, I highly recommend that you look very seriously at what NTI has to offer.
After participating in P.E.I. Interfaith Ministry events for a number of months, I decided to enroll in the CASC program. So far, this has proved to be one of my better decisions. Not only am I furthering my own spiritual growth, but I am also being given the privilege of working with others who are journeying along their own spiritual and life paths. This is a legitimate, comprehensive, ethical, and interesting program. There is a lot of work involved (distance study and personal/professional development), but the whole experience is proving to be a joy. The course fees are extremely reasonable, the self-paced study makes things manageable, and the instructors’ dedication to one-on-one attention is beyond compare. I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking for spiritual arts training within an organization where the people involved really care.

In two weeks I will have the privilege of meeting Rev. Barry and Rev Sandi King. And yet, I feel that I know them and trust them implicitly. I have been a distance learner with the Seminary for Open International Interfaith Ministry - OIIM with the honour of Sandi and Barry being my mentors. They have created a course that meets a wide variety of interests and needs and are very willing to acknowledge and accept the students' past learnings. They, in turn honour their students by having them present at their annual retreat - giving them an opportunity to practice and share their areas of expertise and their new learnings from OiiM. You can work towards fulfilling your goals, at your own pace with as much support as you need. This has truly been a wonderful and growing experience for me and I say, "thank you, with all my heart."

I have been involved with OIIM since May 2011 and have found my time with them to be interesting and educational, with the main focus being spiritual growth and self reflection. The course modules are easy to understand & the mentorship from other graduates has been very helpful and easily accessible. Taking the course at a distance is convenient and done at my pace, within my own time frame. I also find the cost manageable and reasonable. This education will be invaluable in my future plans.

I have been involved with PEI Ministry for many years; first as a participant in workshops and currently as a student. The Ministry has been and continues to be a place of personal and spiritual growth for me. The knowledge and experience of Revs Sandi and Barry gives me the confidence to learn and connect to Spirit in very meaningful ways. It is true that we are souls.

I am very happy to be able to further my work with clients through the program Certificate of Applied Spiritual Counselling through the NTI and the guidance of Rev. Barry and Rev. Sandi King. As I work toward this end, I feel I am blossoming my abilities to be of service.

When I think back I first heard your Meditation at my ACOA meetings and still remember how soothing your voice was and how safe I felt as you took me on my first" journey" (this was before I had even met you). I am truly amazed at how much more you and Barry are striving for and continue to accomplish. Thank you both for touching and improving my life in so many ways!!! Hugs and Love Beth
Rev. Susan Eaton, CASC, OM, Master Spiritual Director, NTI Dean, VP on OIIM Board of Directors, Hunter River, PE
I am honoured to be the first graduate of the NTI Interfaith Seminary. OIIM is a wonderful community of people each following their own understanding of the Divine while supporting each other in spiritual growth. OIIM also provides an opportunity to gain experience in developing gifts of spirit with trained leaders.
I gradually felt called into a more active role of leadership in the Interfaith Ministry, and shortly after the NTI seminary came into being, I became the first student. The course work required study, research, self-reflection, and community work as an intern, with professors always available by phone or email to provide mentoring, guidance and encouragement. The in-residence sessions at the NTI campus are a wonderful opportunity to meet professors and other students in person, and to share in very informative and stimulating presentations and discussions.
I chose to work toward ordained ministry, and am now privileged to serve the Interfaith community, and the wider community, in the always rewarding, fulfilling, and sometimes challenging role of Interfaith Minister. I am also an NTI student, working on additional certificates, with great support from the professors, mentors, and other students.
