The iNtuitive Times Institute (NTI) is the seminary program
for the Open International Interfaith Ministry.

The iNtuitive Times Institute® (NTI) is an international institute that provides meaningful training in spirituality and matters of Spirit from and Interfaith/Interspiritual perspective.  NTI is recognized by the Canadian government as an institute of higher learning HRSDC Certified Training Institute File #7009/12501. Our foundation program is a Certificate program. Certificate programs generally consist of less than 2 years of study. The CASC (Certificate of Applied Spiritual Counselling) is NTI's foundation program and is required by all students. NTI offers four upper level Diploma programs. Diploma programs generally consist of 2-4 years of study. NTI's diploma programs meet the OIIM registration criteria to be Registered Lay Ministers and Spiritual Practitioners in these areas of specialization: RSPc (Registered Spiritual Counsellor), RSPh (Registered Spiritual Healer) and RSPm (Registered Spiritual Medium), RSPd (Registered Spiritual Director); or Ordained Interfaith Minister Program, leading to full ordination in the Interfaith Ministry through distance learning, apprenticeship, tele-learnings and intensive experiential residencies.

NTI awards 2 Certificate and 4 Diploma programs. The Open International Interfaith Ministry® confers on NTI students and maintains a registry of those entitled to use the following:
  • RSI - Spiritual Arts Initiate Certificate
  • CASC - Certificate of Applied Spiritual Counselling - NTI Foundation Program

Registered Lay Ministers and Spiritual Arts Practitioners
(with areas of specialization): (2-4 years of further study - depending on background and program chosen)
  • RSPc - OIIM Registered Spiritual Counsellor - NTI Diploma of Spiritual Counselling
  • RSPh - OIIM Registered Spiritual Healer  - NTI Diploma of Spiritual Healling
  • RSPm - OIIM Registered Spiritual Medium-  NTI Diploma of Spiritual Mediumship
  • OM, RSPd - OIIM Ordained Interfaith Minister and Registered Spiritual Director - NTI Diploma of Interfaith Studies and NTI Diploma of Spiritual Direction

Graduates of all programs can qualify as licensed Naturotherapists (n.d.) with Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists of Canada. This means that graduates' services are often covered by extended health care plans when providing  naturopathic consultations in one of the above areas.

Each of NTI's five programs carry with it a set of professional criteria and specific CEU’s (continuing education units) laid out by the Open International Interfaith Ministry's Registration Board enabling graduates to maintain their professional status over time through the Ministry’s Registration Board. All students must be members of the Open International Interfaith Ministry. NTI began in November of 2002.  At that time, a number of people had expressed interest in this type of training within the Ministry, with a registration process which included on-going CEU’s (continuing education units) to maintain a professional status with credibility.

OIIM Registration Board (discussed in-depth later) has the goals of:
           i) ensuring the public that OIIM registrants are credible and qualified to do what they say they can do; and
ii) having a Board with the power to take disciplinary action in response to assessing complaints registered
by the general public, OIIM members and congregants.
