Lay Minister (LM)/RSPc, RSPh, RSPm or Ordained Minister RSPd/OM
This achievement allows the student to begin starting a chapter, run services and offer services within their scope of practice, but not officiate at religious ceremonies. The LM (Lay Minister) status is conferred on those CASC graduates who choose to enter the formal ministry through one of NTI's diploma programs. Not all CASC graduates and RSP students choose the formal ministry stream. Some choose to focus more on just the practitioner stream. Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
To maintain their status, each designate will have to complete for the Open International Interfaith Ministry 24 credit hours of training (equivalent of 4 days workshop) and have 5 independent and confidential evaluations of client sessions completed and forwarded within each three year period. OIIM Registration Board, who sets these standards, may change the requirements and will keep its registrants informed of any changes.
